John Ingebritson

Community Coordinator

I grew up attending an Assembly of God Church in Maryland, then was enrolled at a Jesuit High School in Washington DC, then graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I guess you could say I experienced everything that Christianity had to offer, but I did not give my life to Christ and decide to follow Him until I was 32 years old and started to attend the Watermark Fort Worth shortly after that at the suggestion of a friend. God used my first community group at Watermark to help me be authentic for the first time in my adult life. I confessed sins for the first time and found healing. I also met my wife Shannon through community. She has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. Walking in the light of truth with a community group helps me become a better Christian, husband, and son every day. That’s why I am so passionate about living in community and the reason that I love serving on this team.
