Is There Purpose in Suffering?

It is hard to imagine there is any good purpose or reason for the suffering we experience, all we know is that we don’t want what we have. We take a look at the story of Lazarus, his death, the pain it caused his family & the response of Jesus. Maybe there is something greater than the absence of pain… maybe our comforts are more dangerous to us than our sufferings.
