Drew Zeiler

Young Adults Director

I grew up in Katy, Texas and came to know the Lord at a young age. Because my parents were on staff with a well known Para-Church origination, I was continually exposed to the gospel and life on life discipleship. A significant turning point in my faith was when I was in junior high. I started attending a small group bible study with my peers, but it was not until the end of my freshman year of high school that my personal relationship with Christ really tested and began to grow. It was during my high school years I began to truly “taste and see that the Lord is good” for myself rather than “piggy backing” off of my parents’ faith. By God’s grace, I saw many of my friends come to know Jesus and as a result the Lord was changing my heart and started planting seeds of desire to be in student ministries vocationally.

After graduating from Katy High School, I went to Texas A&M University where I studied Speech Communication. After College, I worked at Houston Christian High School as the Chaplain of School. In the spring of 2012, I moved to Nashville where I was the Director of Student Ministries for a church plant. My hobbies include but are definitely not limited to watching movies, playing sports especially football, basketball, and golf. I like playing and talking about video games and all things technological, reading, running and hiking, working out/ lifting weights, watching mixed martial arts, and traveling. I am so excited to be serving as the Director of Student Ministries in Fort Worth. I believe during middle and high school we begin asking the big questions about where to find meaning and purpose. I believe student ministry to be an incredibly fun and strategic season of life to point young people to the Lord Jesus and begin making Disciples of Christ.
