I was born in Rochester Hills, Michigan but spent most of my life growing up in Glen Rose, TX. I was told at an early age what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus but that wasn’t always displayed well in my home growing up. I found myself lost in my faith through middle school and high school and was constantly looking for something greater in life to bring me joy other than Jesus. It wasn’t until my sophomore year of college at Howard Payne University that everything came crashing down on me. All my sins, my pride, and selfishness came too much to carry on my own. One night in my college dorm room I finally surrendered it all to Jesus and it was in that very moment that my relationship with Him forever changed. I have come to learn that God’s way will always be the best way for our lives.

In the summer of 2013, I moved to Orange County, California where I worked as a Program Director for Memory Care then on to Assisted and Independent Living. In the beginning of 2017, I met my now husband, Matt through a mutual friend. We got married shortly after and in the summer of 2020, we felt called to move back to my home state of TX where we could raise a family and find community. We have not looked back once and have so much peace knowing God has called us here to Fort Worth.
