Iqra Parupia

Young Adults Coordinator

Hi there! I am so thankful that the Lord has allowed me to work with an externally focused ministry like The Porch where we get to welcome and share the Good News with young adults all over Fort Worth. I grew up in a Muslim family with a Pakistani background and through a faithful friend who invited me to The Porch, I came to know Jesus (this ministry definitely holds a special place in my heart!!). I feel lucky and undeserving of the riches that I now have in Christ, and my deepest desire is to share the Good News with everyone I come across, especially my family whom I love so much.

I have two brothers, one older and one younger (yes I am the middle child but I think middle children are the BEST), as well as a niece and twin nephews. I grew up in Texas, went to SMU for college, and then went to Physician Assistant school in Fort Worth. Most recently, I had the privilege of attending the Watermark Institute, where I grew in my love for God and His Word like never before.

I absolutely love the city of Fort Worth. Some things I enjoy are finding new spots along the Trinity River to walk or bike-ride, reading, cooking, photography, and finding cozy coffee shops.
