I grew up in the beautiful, tall pines of Longview Texas! When I was 6 years old, the Lord graciously revealed to me my need for a Savior, and my relationship with Him began. The Lord has used His word, my Jesus loving mom and dad, the local church, and many friends to continue making me look more like Himself. I have my education degree from Dallas Baptist University and loved my time as a student there. During my summers in college, I worked at Pine Cove where the Lord used those long days to mold me and teach me to rely on him. Directly after college I moved to Fort Worth and taught in FWISD for a few years. I then returned to work full time at DBU as a resident director where I met my husband, Donny! He is truly one of the Lord’s kindest gifts in my life. We moved to Fort Worth a year ago, and love this city! You can find us outside on the trails, at Heim Barbecue, or playing any game with some friendly competition. I am thankful I get to serve with our Students here at Watermark Fort Worth. It is a great joy to walk alongside them as they uncover and learn life changing truths about the Gospel.
