Jesus’ Preparation For Public Ministry

This week our sermon series The Gospel of Luke, Part I: The Arrival of the King follows Jesus’ journey of maturity as a youth and preparation as our savior. We see Jesus’ humanity and humility on full display, yet also His zeal for His Father’s Word and will from a young age. The only appropriate response to our sympathetic and sufficient savior is to willfully and worshipfully submit to Him!

  • In Christ, we have the only sufficient teacher and savior who can you lead to life.

  • Even at a young age, Jesus knew His identity and was growing in wisdom of His purpose.
